Excellent hotel on the green A line of the metro. The 3 domes instantly visible when exiting the metro. Helpful staff, very professional, must have a good training programme. Very clean. Quirky Mozart theme including theatre mural in the bedroom which makes the bedroom look bigger. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Live piano music every day we were there. It is situated out of the city centre but so easy to get to via metro 10 minutes and 10 minutes to the National Museum via number 13 tram. We’ve been to Prague a few times and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A truly excellent hotel

We and our son spent five nights at this hotel, which is just 100 metres from both the metro and the trams and a 10-minute metro ride away from the Old Town. The Don Giovanni is a large (>400-room) hotel, which is nonetheless very efficiently run - serving breakfast to upwards of 800 guests without ever running out of food, drinks, plates and cutlery is quite an achievement! In a busy hotel of this size there are going to be some communications lapses here and there, but they were addressed with such grace by the staff and management that we had no complaints at all and would recommend this hotel unreservedly. The beds were comfortable, the housekeeping was excellent (every staff member we passed in the corridor greeted us with "dobrý den") and the common parts of the hotel were kept immaculately clean.

This hotel is a disappointment. Benefit: it is near the tram and metro interesection stations. Unfortunately, it is a minimum 22 minute ride to get to anything. Detriment: It is jammed with many, many guests; it makes a cruise ship look empty. Breakfast is full of children running around screaming and none of the parents or staff care. The room shower/bath has a 14" shower 'door'. For real? What idiot designs a 14" door?? The entire bathroom becomes soaked. What hotel would install such? We had to check out 1 day early from 2 rooms. They refused any concession; gave us a bottle of water in lieu of a $276 credit. I do not recommend this place for Americans.

Unfortunately a disappointment. Looked fantastic and the description of the facilities sounded great. However, upon arriving the whole feel was that the hotel is outdated. Not un-fresh but somehow tacky. Front desk staff was very polite and helpful. But when arriving at our room it still had paper trash on the floor and a loaf of bread on the shoe shelf. We notified the staff who apologized and said they were going to take care of it directly. When we came back the floor was cleaned but trashcans still not emptied and the bread still there... About the breakfast we had read that the vegan options were great. However, at least to our standards, they weren't (we had notified the hotel at the booking and when checking in). What was available was fruits, marmalade and hash-browns. Also, a very loud and stressful dining environment. The piano seems like a good idea but it made normal voiced conversation difficult. Will stay somewhere else if going back to Prague.

Great hotel, comfortable room and beds. Great facilities. Very helpful staff, especially Andrej. He went above and beyond for me this morning. I couldn’t thank him enough for his help and professionalism. I highly recommend this hotel. The spa is also out of this world. Breakfast buffet is fantastic. I look forward to trying the other restaurants.
